Delicious Easy Wholefood Meatballs

  • 500 g pork minced
  • 1 ½ cup fresh sourdough breadcrumbs can use 1/2 cup quinoa flakes for gluten free option
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 2 tbsp Tamari soy sauce alternative
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste or homemade tomato sauce
  • Olive oil for drizzling


  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Mix all the ingredients until extremely well combined. If you have a mixer use that. Otherwise use your hands and get down and dirty! (I used thermomix speed 5 for 30 seconds).
  • Once fully combined roll into balls – I usually do around the size of a heaped teaspoon, but feel free to make them bigger.
  • Pop them on a baking tray and coat lightly with olive oil.
  • Cook in the oven for approximately 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Enjoy!
