What could I sub in for the Hemp Plus powder please?
The ingredients of the 180 Nutrition Hemp Plus protein powder is…
Organic Cacao, Organic Hemp Protein, Organic Sprouted Brown Rice Protein, Organic Sprouted and Fermented Pea Protein, Organic Maca Root Powder.
So you could replace it with just the raw Cacao powder if you’d prefer Kym.
Oats aren’t GF!
Agree with Tania – the Australian Food Standard prohibits the use of a ‘gluten free’ claim on products containing oats. Refer website https://www.coeliac.org.au/s/article/Oats-and-the-gluten-free-diet (as at November 2021)
You wouldn’t want someone to make this and serve it to a person with coeliac disease, saying it is gluten free… that should only be done under medical supervision
Sorry to be passionate about this, but have a couple of coeliacs in the family, and the American use of “gluten-free oats” is becoming problematic in a lot of recipes
