- Either a stick blender, regular blender or food processor will work well for hummus.
- Put everything in and blend away. Use water only after initial blend to assess consistency. You may also use more lemon juice or oil to thin the consistency instead of water
- Hummus will keep for approximately 1 week in the fridge.
Notes
- Use as a dip for chips, crackers, crisps, carrots, celery etc. Also great thinned out a bit more and used as a salad dressing. Make it 'fancy' for entertaining with a generous sprinkle topping of Dukkah and more oil. Add in favourite flavour bits like sundried tomatoes, olives, grated zucchini, roasted pumpkin etc.
