Sometimes the need for chocolate strikes. And when it does – you need something on hand.
To make melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, here is what I do!

Ingredients
- ¼ cup coconut oil melted
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 2.5 tbsp maple syrup raw honey or rice malt syrup
Instructions
- Combine the coconut oil, cacao powder and sweetener.
- Mix until smooth and then pour into moulds or spread out on a baking tray lined with baking paper and pop in the freezer.
- If you want to flavour the chocolate I love adding a few dollops of peanut butter, frozen berries, nuts or even just a sprinkle of salt.
Notes
I have also been known to make a big batch of my Crepes and pour this mixture (in liquid form) over the top with a side of berries and cream. It’s also perfect to dip strawberries into and then pop into the fridge for a decadent dessert. SO GOOD!
